التقيت ظهر يوم امس بعدد من الصحفيين والاعلاميين السودانيين المتواجدين في القاهرة في لقاء اتسم بالصراحة والوضوح ونقاش الهم الوطني المشترك في ظل الحرب الوجودية الدائرة الان التي تهدد بقاء السودان كدولة، ووحدته وسيادته.

‏‎استمعت إلى رؤاهم في ما يخص الصحافة والاعلام في ظل الحرب الحالية بجهة النواقص التي يرونها والتي يعملون على سدها في سودان ما بعد الحرب واتفقت معهم على النظر في آلية تساعد الدولة في تقديم المعلومات الضرورية لمواجهة الحرب والبناء والتأسيس الجديد لدولتنا السودانية.

‏‎تحدثت مطولا عن مخاطر تعدد المنابر المطروحة حاليا والتي تطيل أمد الحرب في السودان وتعطل جهودنا لانهائها بالسرعة المطلوبة كما اطلعتهم على المبادئ الأساسية ل(خارطة الطريق) التي وضعتها الحكومة لانهاء الحرب في السودان والتي تضع إطاراً يدفع بسرعة وصول المساعدات الإنسانية لكافة السودانيين المتأثرين بالحرب الحالية على أن يعقب ذلك عملية سياسية تقوم على منهج يقود لاعادة تأسيس الدولة السودانية وليس منهج تقاسم السلطة.

‏‎ودعوت الأخوة الإعلاميين للوقوف بقوة من أجل الدفاع عن الدولة السودانية كون ان الحياد لا يليق عندما تكون الدولة مهددة في وجودها وقدمت تحية خاصة إلى الشباب السوداني بكافة مسمياتهم الذين قرروا الدفاع عن السودان والسودانيين والسودانيات في هذه الحرب التي احدثت تغييراً في المفاهيم ما يتطلب أن يقابله تغيير في المنهج وأفاق الحل ( لا يمكن ايجاد حل عبر نفس الاشخاص ونفس ربطات العنق ونفس الطرح الذي سبق تفجر الازمة).

‏‎وختمت اللقاء بدعوة كل السودانيين لتحمل المسؤولية في الحفاظ على السودان بالعمل المشترك والأمانة المهنية والوطنية لبناء سودان المستقبل. واكدت لهم ان يداي ستظل ممدودة ومفتوحة باتجاه كل القوى التي ترغب في صناعة مستقبل جديد افضل للسودان وشعبه، بعيدا عن البحث عن المكاسب السياسية الضيقة الافق.

Yesterday’s afternoon, I met with a number of Sudanese journalists and media professionals present in Cairo, in a meeting characterized by frankness and clarity, we had a discussion on the common national concern in light of the current existential war that threatens the survival of Sudan as a state, its unity and sovereignty.

I listened to their visions regarding the press and the media in light of the current war in terms of the shortcomings that they see and that they are working to fill in post-war, and I agreed with them to consider a mechanism that would assist the state in providing the necessary information to confront the war and build and establish a new Sudanese state.

I spoke at length about the dangers of the multiplicity of platforms currently being offered, which prolong the war in Sudan and hinder our efforts to end it as quickly as required. I also informed them of the basic principles of the (road map) that the government has set to end the war in Sudan, the roadmap sets a framework that prompts the speedy delivery of humanitarian aid to all war-affected Sudanese. This will be followed by a political process based on an approach that leads to the re-establishment of the Sudanese state, not a power-sharing approach.

I called on my media guests to stand strong in order to defend the Sudanese state, given that neutrality is not appropriate when the state is threatened in its existence. The approach and the prospects for a solution (it is not possible to find a solution through the same people, with the same neckties, and the same proposition that preceded the outbreak of the crisis).

I concluded the meeting by inviting all Sudanese to take responsibility in preserving Sudan by joint work, professional integrity and patriotism to build the future Sudan. I assured them that my hands would remain extended and open towards all forces that wish to create a new and better future for Sudan and its people, far from searching for narrow-minded political gains.
